Since January 2005 ACT has increased the number of children it is providing with educational scholarships in Africa by 87. The total number of needy fatherless children and orphans now supported had reached 350. ACT is helping these children of poor widows to complete their education enabling them to achieve their full potential in life.

ACT works through partners in Zambia, Burkina Faso Tanzania and Nigeria. In October 2004, ACT started working with a second partner in Tanzania. Based in Moshi, the Free Pentecostal Church of Tanzania now joins the TAG Church, Tanga as ACT partners. ACT is now educating a total of 45 children n Tanzania. The Practical help ACT provides brings hope to widowed mothers, guardians and communities.
